A lot of people have columbused orange wine lately. Orange wine is not new, guys, it has been around forever, but I'm not above chasing a trend.
Personally, I enjoy Caruso & Minini's Arancino from Sicily and it accompanies Amélie quite well. (I bet you thought that I'd suggest a French wine for Amélie. Please, like I'd ever do something that trite.)
This vibrant and fruity wine boasts a playful and refreshing flavor profile that perfectly complements the movie's heartwarming story, quirky characters, and colorful visuals. Crafted from the indigenous Grillo and Catarratto grape varieties, the wine holds notes of lemon zest, green apple, and white peach.
The wine's fresh and lively flavors mirror the film's whimsical narrative. Directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet and starring Audrey Tautou as the title character, who explores a dreamy, imaginative version of Paris. After discovering a hidden box of childhood treasures in her apartment, Amélie embarks on a journey to improve the lives of those around her through a series of eccentric and heartwarming acts of kindness. With its enchanting visuals and magical storytelling, "Amélie" celebrates life's simple joys.
Have fun!
